Questions
What is Scout?
A shopping app with a personal shopper you just talk to. It learns what you like and finds things for you, from lots of stores.
Is it free?
Yes. Running a Secret Santa and the Scout app are both free.
Do I need the app?
Not to run one. You start it on this site. Everyone taking part joins in the Scout app.
How many people do I need?
Three or more.
Can I see who drew whom?
No, and neither can anyone else. Everyone only finds out who they got.
Can couples avoid drawing each other?
Yes. Pick who can’t draw whom before names are drawn.
What does Scout know about my person?
Only what they tick on a card before anything is shared. Health, money and anything about other people never make it onto the card.
Can kids join?
Yes, with a Scout account of their own.
